CompaRes at the XIV International Congress of Slavists in Ohrid, Macedonia

Our Society and its projects are to be presented at the XIV International Congress of Slavists in Ohrid, Macedonia, to be held 10-16 September, 2008.

Its President: Beata Elzbieta Cieszynska and its Vice-President: Jose Eduardo Franco will deliver there a paper:

ŤProjects of CompaRes - International Society for Iberian-Slavonic Studies (University of Lisbon) focused on the "Ideas of/for Europe"ť

Together with Professor Halina Janaszek-Ivanickova - Member of the CompaRes Advisory Board, they were also invited by the International Committee of Slavists to participate in creation of the Commission of Iberian-Slavonic Comparative Research, affiliated with that Committee.
